The chances of Radja Nainggolan staying with Inter are increasing according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Nainggolan is no longer considered as being out of the club’s project, like he was last year, and therefore he has every chance of convincing Inter manager Antonio Conte to involve him.

Nainggolan spent last season on loan at Cagliari and will not be allowed to leave the club on loan again. Inter will only let him depart if it is on a permanent basis for €15 million or on loan with an obligation to buy with the loan club paying all of his wages and paying around €10 million to sign him outright.

The Belgian’s annual pay packet represents a real obstacle and stops many clubs from being able to move for him.

It is now down to Nainggolan to take his chance and prove himself to Conte. If he does, he could prove to be a wildcard for Conte.
