It is only a matter of time until Matteo Darmian swaps Parma for Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

As per this report it is only a few days until Darmian will move to Inter in a €2.5 million deal from the Ducali club. The deal was agreed between the two clubs a year ago when Darmian joined Parma from Premier League side Manchester United.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that versatile defender Darmian, who is capable of playing across the entire backline, will sign a four year contract with Inter and he will earn just over €1.5 million a year.

The 30-year-old, who has represented the Italian national team on 36 separate occasions, made 34 appearances across all competitions during the recently completed 2019/20 season. In just under 2700 minutes on the park, Darmian scored one goal and also provided a single assist for his teammates.
