Arturo Vidal has reached an agreement with Barcelona over terminating his contract according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.

An agreement between the Chilean national team player and La Liga club was reached through the night and Vidal is now ready to become an Inter player.

The former Bayern Munich central midfielder should leave for Milan today and he will sign a two year contract with an option to a third year worth €6 million a year with Inter, who have courted him for a long long time.

32-year-old Vidal is a player who Inter manager Antonio Conte has wanted ever since he took charge of the club and it now only appears to be a matter of time until he is reunited with Vidal, who he worked with at Juventus.

Vidal will become Inter’s fourth signing of the transfer window following the acqusitions of Achraf Hakimi, Alexis Sanchez and Aleksandar Kolarov.
