Torino president Urbano Cairo has revealed that defender Armando Izzo has several admirers but La Granata are not prepared to let him go easily.

Izzo has been linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino for several months and Inter have been linked with moving for him for a long time.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is said to be a big fan of the former Genoa defender who he believes would be an ideal addition to the team due to his experience in a three man backline.

“Izzo is a very important player for us, I know he has many suitors but let’s see. We will not let Izzo go away with a light heart,” Cairo explained in an interview with the gathered media following the Lega Serie A assembly which took place earlier on today.

Izzo joined Torino in the Summer of 2018 and he has a contract with them through to the end of the 2021/22 season. In the 2019/20 season, the 28-year-old made 37 appearances across all competitions and in his time on the park he scored three goals.
