Inter manager Antonio Conte wants another midfielder signed in addition to Arturo Vidal according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Vidal is set to join Inter imminently and Conte wants Chelsea’s N’Golo signed or a player with similar characteristics such as Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey.
Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta could put a stop to any incoming signings until a series of sales are made as Inter need to trim down their squad.
Marcelo Brozovic, Christian Eriksen, Diego Godin, Antonio Candreva, Joao Mario, Dalbert, Ivan Perisic, Matias Vecino and Andrea Ranocchia are all players who could potentially leave the club.
The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that in addition to wanting another central midfielder signed, a new left wing-back and a fourth choice striker are understood to be on former Italian national team boss Conte’s transfer wishlist.
