Edoardo Vergani is one step away from joining fellow Serie A club Bologna according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
As per the report, the highly rated Italian youth national team striker’s temporary move to the Rossoblu club will be finalised today.
The 19-year-old is a product of Inter’s academy and the loan to Bologna will give him a chance to test himself at Serie A level and get more regular minutes than he would get at Inter, where he is far from being first in the attacking pecking order.
The Italian under 19 national team representative joined Inter back in the Summer of 2014 from the youth ranks of Monza and he has a contract with the Nerazzurri until the end of the 2022/23 season.
Last season Vergani was in Inter’s Primavera side and he made 17 appearances across all competitions. In just over 800 minutes on the park, he scored three goals and provided four assists.
