Intermediaries are working on a potential swap deal between Inter and Manchester United that would involve Ivan Perisic and Chris Smalling according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.
There is very good relations between the two clubs given recent business between them and the idea of the intermediaries is to do a swap deal with both players being valued at €15 million.
Such a swap deal would allow Manchester United to bring in a winger whilst Inter could bring in Smalling who could serve as a replacement for Milan Skriniar, who could well leave the club.
Skriniar staying or going will in fact determine whether such a deal occurs, if it is the former it will not but if it is the latter it could go ahead.
Paris Saint-Germain have recently shown an interest in signing Skriniar and if a big offers arrives Inter could offload him as it could help them greatly toward signing Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.
The report concludes that despite facing difficulties last season at Inter, Skriniar, who is contracted to Inter until 2023, would very gladly remain at the club.
