Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey is Inter’s alternative to Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter manager Antonio Conte is said to dream about signing Kante and bolstering the Nerazzurri midfield with his acqusition but Inter are still keeping an eye on Ghanaian national team player Thomas.
Doing a deal with Atletico Madid for the 27-year-old will be far from easy and if Inter decided to direct their attention toward Thomas then it will remain necessary for them to make a sale or sales to raise funds to fund a move for the player.
This is not the first time that Inter have come into links with Thomas having been linked with him ahead of last Summer’s transfer window as well.
The central midfielder is a product of Atletico Madrid’s academy and still has just under three years left to run on his contract with the club who he has made 185 appearances for across all competitions.
