Inter’s priority at the moment is trimming down the squad according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Barring any surprises, the first outgoing transfer will be that of Diego Godin to Cagliari. The Uruguayan has agreed a three year contract worth €2.5 million a year with the Sardinian club.

Once Godin is dealt with, Inter could then hold talks with Genoa over central defender Andrea Ranocchia, who is not entirely convinced by the idea of leaving Inter for Genoa.

Dalbert and Joao Mario, who have had interest shown in them from Spain could both leave the club as could Marcelo Brozovic.

AS Monaco, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid have all made enquiries for the Croatian national team player and it remains to be seen whether these enquiries will turn into serious offers or if serious offers will be made for Brozovic from elsewhere.
