The rivalry between Inter Milan and Ac Milan has been ongoing since 1908 when the Nerazzurri were founded. These two Italian teams are both based in Milan and even though they share the same stadium, they are very different

From Sulley Muntari to Ronaldo, various players have crossed from one Milan team to the other.

1. Ronaldo

Ronaldo joined Inter Milan in 1997 for a world-record fee. He played there for 5 years and even went ahead to win the Ballon d’Or. He was a good player but injuries derailed his career.

After ten years, he was pitched by Ac Milan looking slightly weary but still a genius. He managed to play for both teams but unfortunately, an injury put an end of his second year with the Rossoneri.

2. Sulley Muntari

He is the second African to play for both Milan teams, the first being Taribo West. During his team at Inter, he helped the team win the Champions League and the Serie A title in 2009/2010 whom he joined from Fratton Park in the summer of 2008.

In 2011, he signed a contract with Sunderland but then turned back to Inter in May 2011. In January 2912, he went on loan to AC Milan.

3. Francesco Coco

He is one of those footballers who made the headlines for his off-pitch antics. He was known for partying, smoking, and even being a movie star.

Francesco Coco played for both Inter and Ac Milan where he showed so much progress.  In 2003, he accused Inter for his failure to be Italy’s best back left after undergoing surgery on his back.

4. Edgar Davis

Edgar Davis is a well known combative and creative midfielder. He first started getting noticed after making his first move to Juventus, being managed by Marcello Lippi.

In 2004, he signed a deal with Inter and mostly played as a substitute. In August 2005, his contract with Inter was terminated and he moved to Spurs on a free transfer.

5. Hernan Crespo

Hernan Crespo is an Argentine professional football coach and former player. In 2002, Hernan Crespo was signed at Inter as a replacement for Ronaldo. Whilst failing to win the Champions League, he still scored twice in the notorious final defeat to Liverpool for Milan in the Champions League.

6. Roberto Baggio

Baggio is a well-known player who had 2 successful seasons with Inter. He became among the world’s best players while playing for Juventus. After accomplishing five successful seasons with Juventus, Roberto Baggio signed for AC Milan.
