Andrea Pinamonti’s agent Mino Raiola has provided an update on the current situation regarding the Genoa and Italian youth national team striker.
Pinamonti joined Genoa from Inter last Summer and as part of the deal, a gentleman’s agreement was reached between the clubs in order for Inter to re-sign Pinamonti this Summer.
Pinamonti is a product of Inter’s youth academy and on top of discussing the latest on his future, Raiola also sang the praises of the 21-year-old forward who scored seven goals and tallied three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for the Rossoblu club.
“We are talking, they have found an agreement with Genoa but to find out more you have to talk to the clubs. Definitive situations in football do not exist, everything changes every day. We are looking for the right solution,” he told the gathered media after meeting with Inter.
“He is a very good player, he is one of the strikers of the national team of the future and the transfer market says so because there are many offers for him from abroad. Inter are doing us a pleasure and vice versa, we’re talking about a real player.
“Move to Juventus? Hate the sin, love the sinner.”
Next Raiola refused to rule out the possibility of another of his client’s in Mario Balotelli completing a return to Inter.
“We are talking about one of the greatest strikers in Italy, the solution is always there. He will stay in Europe.”
In conclusion Raiola was asked about yet another one of his client’s in Inter central defender Stefan de Vrij and his future with the Nerazzurri club, who he has been with since the Summer of 2018.
“Stefan, as you know, has been elected as the best defender in Italy. Calmly, there will be a future for him at Inter.”
