If Milan Skriniar leaves Inter the Nerazzurri club could make a move for a top midfielder according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
As things stand there has been nothing more than timid enquiries made for Skriniar, whose sale could raise between €40-50 million, a sum of money which Inter would invest into signing a midfielder.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter could move for either of Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey with money raised through the sale of Skriniar.
Kante is widely reported to be Inter manager Antonio Conte’s dream signing to bolster the midfield whilst many reports have stated that Inter have identified Ghanaian international Thomas as an alternative to him given the difficulty that would be involved in signing Kante from Chelsea, who seemingly want between €50-60 million for him.
