Selling before buying does not only apply for bringing Arturo Vidal to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter need to reduce their wage bill before bringing in Vidal and by offloading Godin’s salary of €5.8 million a year, Inter will be able to bring in Vidal, whose wage will be more or less the same as that.
Inter also want to bring in a left wing-back. The favourite is currently Marcos Alonso and Dalbert will need to be sold. Once Andrea Ranocchia or Kwadwo Asamoah is sold, Inter could also bring in Matteo Darmian from Parma.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter continue to dream about signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante but the report warns that this is a difficult dream for Inter to turn into reality.
Various reports elsewhere in the media have stated that Chelsea want around €50-60 million for Kante and in order to afford that Inter will need to make a big sale.
