Inter manager Antonio Conte wishes to field Stefano Sensi in the role of regista this season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper CalcioMercato.com.
Sensi will play as a regista in a three man midfield which will see Nicolo Barella utilised as a mezzala as well as Arturo Vidal, who is set to arrive at Inter.
Conte believes that Sensi has all the credentials to fulfil the role that Marcelo Brozovic played last season and the report explains that Brozovic could be on his way out of Inter.
Inter have a rather packed midfield right now and he may be the only midfielder sacrificed. The club consider him to be one of the expendable players who will be able to bring in a decent sum of cash to enable them to sign another midfielder.
Brozovic has interest in his services from Germany and England and Conte has already given the green light for him to be sold. Under the right conditions, Brozovic will leave Inter before the transfer window closes.
