RB Leipzig are serious about signing Inter winger Ivan Perisic according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Inter would like a sum of €12 million to part ways with Perisic but could also accept a loan with obligation to buy deal to let them offload Perisic’s €4.5 million a year salary from their wage bill.
Perisic is back at Inter following a season long loan spell with Bayern Munich last season and his Inter future is right up in the air.
Some reports in the media have stated that Inter are looking to offload the Croatian national team player whilst some reports have stated that Perisic could even be reintegrated into the Inter team.
The 31-year-old joined Inter in the Summer of 2015 from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg. Since joining Inter, Perisic, who is contracted until 2022, has made 163 appearances, in which he has scored 40 goals and provided 35 assists.
