A market domino effect could see Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan head to Cagliari before the closure of the transfer window, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how Uruguayan veteran defender Diego Godin is set to finally leave Milan to join the Rossoblu, after reaching an agreement regarding his exit from the Lombardy capital.

After the 34-year-old’s departure, the Nerazzurri can look to speed up the talks for Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, with only the final details remaining before the player links up with long time fan coach Antonio Conte.

Vidal’s arrival at Inter could then push Radja Nainggolan to return to Cagliari, the report continues, with the Rossoblu still interested in keeping the 32-year-old Belgian midfielder.

There is still another issue, likely in regard to the costs of the deal and Nainggolan wages, but this is set to be discussed in the last week of the transfer market.
