Inter Open To Letting Cagliari Linked Radja Nainggolan Leave On Loan With Obligation To Buy Italian Media Clam

Inter and Cagliari are to meet this week over Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Following the arrival of Arturo Vidal at Inter, Nainggolan is now free to leave the Nerazzurri club but an agreement being reached between the two clubs over Nainggolan will be far from easy, the report continues.

Nainggolan currently has a value of €18 million against Inter’s books and Cagliari cannot afford to pay that much for him.

Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini’s goal would be to acquire Nainggolan on loan again. Inter will not let him go on a dry loan but would let him leave on loan provided there is an obligation to buy under certain conditions.

In one years time, Nainggolan’s value against Inter’s books will be around €9 million, a figure more achievable for Cagliari.

Nainggolan’s salary will however continue to be a problem for Cagliari who cannot afford to match the €4.6 million net a year he receieves from Inter.

The report goes on to explain that his agent Alessandro Beltrami and Cagliari are working on the possibility of spreading the final two years of his Inter contract over a four year period.
