Inter could possibly go back in for Roma captain Edin Dzeko according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Inter had courted Dzeko over the course of the Summer of 2019 and also showed an interest in him more recently but he appeared to set his sights on a move to Juventus instead due to his desire of wanting to win the Serie A title.

Alvaro Morata’s return to Juventus has however thrown a spanner in the works for Dzeko’s possible switch to the Bianconeri and it looks highly unlikely that he will move to them now.

Roma have decided to sell the veteran Bosnia and Herzegovina national team forward in order to offload his €7.5 million a year wages but the player does not want to leave the capital city club at all costs, despite him having a far from idyllic relationship with manager Paulo Fonseca.
