Inter have not made any offers to Manchester United for central defender Chris Smalling according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Smalling spent last season on loan at Roma and he reportedly caught the eye of Inter but the Nerazzurri club are yet to move for the Englishman.

Manchester United continue to demand a sum of €20 million for the former Fulham player and the report explains that Roma remain keen on bringing him back to the club but have not offered anything more than €13 million for the time being.

Following the money they spent to bring Marash Kumbulla to the club from fellow Serie A side Hellas Verona, the report goes on to add that Roma are not wanting to spend a lot of money on another central defender.

Roma are not only looking at Smalling either with the report concluding that they are in fact also evaluating alternatives to him although none of the alternatives being looked at are named in the report.
