Inter will not move to bring in a new left wing-back due to the conversion of Ivan Perisic according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Perisic spent last season out on loan at Bayern Munich, where he won a treble, and since his return to Inter at the start of this month, he has been utilised as a left wing-back in training and in pre-season friendlies.
As a result of this, the report from the Turin based news outlet explains that Inter have given up in their pursuit of signing Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso.
By giving up on signing a new left wing-back, the report also goes on to state that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta can allocate the funds that would have otherwise been spent on a new left wing-back toward the signing of Chelsea and France national team midfielder N’Golo Kante.
