Eddie Salcedo is expected to complete a return to Hellas Verona from Inter today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian youth national team representative is set to return to the Gialloblu club on a loan with option to buy basis, with Inter having a counter-option to buy him back in the event Hellas Verona take up their option although the report does not specify the figures.
Udinese had also been linked with a move for Salcedo but in the end their interest did not matter as Salcedo had set his mind on a return to the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi, where he spent the duration of last season on loan.
The 18-year-old forward joined Inter back in 2018 from Genoa and he has a contract with the club until the end of the 2023/24 season. Salcedo has never made a first team appearance for Inter as of yet.
