Tottenham Hotspur are continuing to press hard to sign Inter’s Milan Skriniar according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.
The Slovakian national team player has given his consent to a move to the Premier League club, who are still a little bit apart from Inter in negotiations over him.
Inter want €60 million to part ways with the former Sampdoria player whilst Spurs have only offered a sum of €38 million so far. Despite the distance, there is optimism that a deal can be done.
The report from the broadcaster goes on to explain that the sale of Skriniar should finance Inter’s move for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, who Inter manager Antonio Conte dreams of signing.
When it comes to replacing Skriniar, the report goes on to state that the best option at this moment appears to be Manchester United’s Chris Smalling, who is a cheaper option than either of Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic or Schalke’s Ozan Kabak.
