Inter’s three potential replacements for Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar are Nikola Milenković, Chris Smalling and Ozan Muhammed Kabak, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how Fiorentina still want around €40 million for the 22-year-old Milenković, who is contracted to the Florence based club until 2022. The figure is considered excessive by the Milanese club and so he is low on the priority list.
The next option is the 30-year-old Smalling, the report continues, a much more affordable option. The Nerazzurri also already have a good relationship with Manchester United, helping to facilitate a possible deal.
The final option is Schalke’s Kabak. The 20-year-old Turkish defender is contracted to the Bundesliga side until 2024, but for now is a fringe option.
The Milanese club are currently in talks with Tottenham regarding a possible sale of Skriniar, but want around €50 million for the player’s signature.
