Inter need to trim their squad down before next week’s transfer deadline and there are five players who could leave the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corrriere dello Sport.

Joao Mario, Radja Nainggolan, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic and Christian Eriksen’s respective futures are all considered to be in doubt.

Cagliari have not abandoned hope of being able to sign Nainggolan but Inter’s demands for him have not changed with them continuing to demand €15 million or a loan with obligation to buy set at €10 million.

As for Vecino, despite currently being sidelined by injury, Inter are currently in negotiations with fellow Serie A side Napoli over him.

There is however no news when it comes to Brozovic and Eriksen, the report from the Rome based news outlet adds.

Inter are hopeful that things will pick up in the coming days when it comes to outgoing transfers as does Inter manager Antonio Conte, who continues to hope for N’Golo Kante to be signed.
