Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a fresh offer for Inter central defender Milan Skriniar according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
As per the report, the Premier League outfit are ready to offer a €40 million excluding add-ons deal to Inter for the Slovakian, who has already consented to a move to the north London based club.
Inter will reinvest the funds into signing Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante and will also use funds to loan in a replacement for the former Sampdoria defender.
When it comes to replacing Skriniar, Inter would like Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic but the simplest player to sign to replace him is Manchester United’s Chris Smalling.
Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is planning on making a loan with option to buy deal for the Englishman and the report adds that the chances of Ozan Kabak being signed are decreasing.
