Inter are on the look-out for a new wing-back before the transfer window closes on Monday according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso is an option that Inter could explore prior to the transfer window closing this coming Monday and they could be helped by the recent breakdown in relations between Alonso and Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.

The report goes on to explain that Inter are waiting to see if they will get a super offer for Milan Skriniar, who has been subject to strong interest from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. If such an offer does not arrive, Inter would gladly keep Skriniar at the club.

The report also states that Inter will keep a hold of Andrea Ranocchia and are preparing to welcome Parma’s versatile defender Matteo Darmian to the club whilst Radja Nainggolan looks like he will return to Cagliari.
