Inter beat Benevento 5-2 on the postponed Match Day 1 fixture of the 2020/2021 Serie A season in a goal fest at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.
Nerazzurri got off to the bestt possible start when Romelu Lukaku scored after just 28 seconds after some phenomenal link-up play with Alexis Sanchez and Achraf Hakimi.
The Nerazzurri continued to hammer the home side and doubled their lead after 25 minutes after a volleyed goal by Roberto Gagliardini.
Romelu Lukaku bagged his brace just three minutes later and Inter new boy Achraf Hakimi opened his account just before half time after Gianluca Caprari scored Benevento’s goal, sandwiched between the two Inter player’s goals.
Inter started the second half much slower for obvious reasons but Lautaro Martinez made it 5-1 minutes before Caprari bagged his brace, making the final result 2-5.
