Torino are hard at work to try and convince Inter midfielder Joao Mario to accept their offer, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.
The report details how the Granata are in talks with the 27-year-old Portuguese midfielder to try and get him to accept their loan offer.
Torino are keen to acquire the player, who disappointed whilst on loan with Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow last season, because of his experience and tactical flexibility, which coach Marco Giampaolo is a fan of.
Inter are happy to re-home the Portuguese midfielder, who has not been included in coach Antonio Conte’s project at the club.
Talks will continue throughout today and into tomorrow, before the closure of the transfer market tomorrow evening.
Joao Mario has already been frozen out of the Inter squad by Conte, with the Nerazzurri desperate to find a new home for him. He has been with Inter since 2016.
