Matias Vecino and Daniele Padelli are both at risk of being excluded from Inter’s UEFA squad list according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Inter are due to submit their squad list just shortly ahead of the beginning of the Champions League group stages in just over two weeks time and Vecino and Padelli’s names could be left off of Inter’s list.
Vecino is currently sidelined due to recovering from surgery on his knee and he is not expected to make a return to action until November, by which time half of the group stage will have been played.
As for Padelli, who recently signed a one year contract extension with Inter until the end of this season, Inter could opt to include academy player Filip Stankovic in his place instead due to the fact Stankovic’s inclusion will help Inter to meet squad requirements.
