Achraf Hakimi will start for Morocco in their international friendly match against DR Congo tomorrow according to a report from Moroccan news outlet lionsdelatlas.ma.

The Inter wing-back played the entire 90 minutes of their 3-1 international friendly win over Senegal but will not get any rest and will be starting against DR Congo at the 52,000 capacity Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

The report explains that Hakimi will be part of an experimental line-up deployed by Moroccan national team manager Vahid Halilhodzic against DR Congo.

Hakimi joined Inter during the recently concluded Summer transfer window from Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid in a deal worth a total of €45 million.

The highly rated defender has come in and made an immediate impact. Hakimi has featured in all three of Inter’s games to date this season. In his time on the park, which totals just over 200 minutes, the 21-year-old has scored a single goal and provided his teammates with two assists.
