Inter were unable to get a deal done for Victor Moses due to Radja Nainggolan staying with the club according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

At the end of the recent transfer window Inter sparked an interest in bringing Nigerian international Moses back to the club as they looked to bolster their wing-back department at the last minute.

The player himself would have liked a return to Inter, where he spent the second half of last season on loan, but Nainggolan staying at Inter meant Moses could not get his return to the Nerazzurri club.

Inter were in negotiations with Cagliari over Nainggolan but the two clubs could not come to an agreement over the Belgian central midfielder.

The report goes on to state that having not gotten his desired move to Inter, Moses will soon join Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow. His medical with the Russian capital city club is already scheduled.
