Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti and central midfielder Marcelo Brozovic returned to Inter’s training ground this morning and were subjected to a swab test for COVID-19 according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The results of the two tests are awaited and provided the tests return negative, both Pinamonti and Brozovic will be able to begin their preparations for this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan.

Achraf Hakimi, who has been away with the Moroccan national team, will return this afternoon and all other players away on national team duty will be back tomorrow.

All players will be subjected to testing ahead of the Milan derby on Saturday and the report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that Inter’s medical staff are confident of negative results after all players who will be returning have tested negative as of late.
