Inter management are hopeful that Bayern Munich will come back in for Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Reports in the past few days have suggested Inter and Bayern Munich explored the possibility of a swap deal involving Eriksen and Jerome Boateng in the recently concluded transfer window and Bayern Munich could potentially come back in for the Danish national team player come January.

Inter management are the first to hope that the reigning Bundesliga champions will come back in for the 27-year-old as they are aware that Bayern Munich are one of a few clubs who are capable of affording his €10 million a year wages and could also guarantee Inter a transfer fee for Eriksen that would not see them record a loss.

As per this report, Inter spent a total of €27 million to bring Eriksen to the club from Tottenham Hotspur back in the January transfer window. Since he joined, he has made 28 appearances, in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
