AC Milan attacker Ante Rebic will miss this weekend’s Derby della Madonnina against AC Milan according to a report from Italian news outlet MilanNews.it.

The Croatian national team player has been out injured with a dislocated left elbow and took stock of his condition with the AC Milan medical team today and it has been decided that he will not be available to play for the Rossoneri against the Nerazzurri on Saturday night.

This game simply comes too soon for the former Eintracht Frankfurt player to make a return to action and he will be re-assessed at the start of next week.

Rebic is now one of three AC Milan players who will be unavailable to AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli for the derby. Matteo Gabbia and Leo Duarte will both also miss the derby due to currently being COVID-19 positive.

Inter versus AC Milan is scheduled to kick off at 6pm local time at San Siro on Saturday.
