All Inter players returning from international duty will be swab tested for COVID-19 throughout today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Marcelo Brozovic and Andrea Pinamonti, who returned to the club’s training facilities yesterday, where subject to testing and if they return negative test results they will be able to join Samir Handanovic, Daniele Padelli, Andrea Ranocchia and Matteo Darmian in training.

All of the other players returning from international duty will be tested today and the tests will be staggered out.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that Inter will train as a team tomorrow afternoon as this will allow for today’s tests to be processed and the results communicated to the club and the players.

Inter manager Antonio Conte will also then evaluate whether to decide to have the entire squad go into a pre-match training camp, which in Italian is called ritiro.

Inter are next in action on Saturday evening when they play host to city rivals AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina at San Siro. Kick off is scheduled for 18:00 local time.
