Bayern Munich could make another attempt to sign Christian Eriksen from Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
The Bundesliga club showed an interest in signing Eriksen in the recently concluded Summer transfer window and attempted to strike up a swap deal with Inter which would have seen Eriksen exchanged for experienced German central defender Jerome Boateng.
Eriksen has recently made his feelings known about his lack of game time bu the report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to explain that Eriksen is less functional for Antonio Conte’s system than the likes of Arturo Vidal, Roberto Gagliardini and Nicolo Barella and that is without even taking Radja Nainggolan into consideration.
Since joining Inter back in January from Tottenham Hotspur, Eriksen has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored four goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
