A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has analysed the lineups in the Milan derby between Inter and AC Milan this evening.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are not set to start Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez today, as coach Antonio Conte is aware of next week’s Champions League commitment against Borussia Monchengladbach.

The biggest doubt is whether Marcelo Brozovic or Christian Eriksen will start for Conte’s side, with the Croatian currently preferred.

The 28-year-old Dane recently complained about his lack of playing time and will have to fight to convince the 51-year-old Italian of his qualities.

The other doubt is whether Nicolo Barella will play in a trequartista role behind the two strikers, or if he’ll drop deeper into a five-man midfield.

For AC Milan the only doubt is the formation, with everything revolving around Brahim Diaz and Samu Castillejo.

If the 21-year-old Spaniard starts then the attacking trident would see him start on the left, with Alexis Saelemaekers on the right, and Hakan Calhanoglu behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
