Borussia Monchengladbach manager Marco Rose has labelled Inter as a top team ahead of the sides meeting tomorrow evening.
Inter are set to play host to the Bundesliga club at San Siro in what will be each side’s first match in this year’s Champions League group stage. Inter and Borussia Monchengladbach are in group B alongside Real Madrid and Shakhtar Donetsk.
“There is a big challenge waiting for us tomorrow, an absolute top team,” Rose explained on the sidelines of today’s training session, as quoted by German news outlet Volksstimme.de.
The German tactician, who is in his second year in charge of the BORUSSIA-Park outfit, proceeded to add: “Inter are probably the team that is way ahead in Europe and has a coach with a clear ideas.
“Despite everything, we want to look for our chance and be brave against a team that has high individual quality. We have to be bold and bring consistency to the pitch.”
Inter are heading into this match off the back of a defeat in the first Milan derby of the season this past weekend whilst Borussia Monchengladbach are coming to San Siro having made a poor start to the 2020/21 Bundesliga campaign, with them currently sitting down in 11th having picked up just five points from their opening four fixtures.
