Genoa central midfielder Milan Badelj has insisted that he and his Genoa teammates must take advantage of the opportunities granted to them by Inter in tomorrow evening’s match between the two clubs.

“They are like a house, they are building one floor after another. They are a very strong team and with Conte’s ideas but they are a team that gives a lot and we must be ready to take advantage of the opportunities we will have. We know we will have to suffer,” he explained in an interview with Italian daily newspaper Il Secolo XIX, which appeared in today’s print edition of the Genoese based news outlet.

Genoa head into the match sitting in 11th place in the Serie A standings and will be playing host to an Inter side largely tipped to fight all the way to win the Serie A title this term, even if they are currently sitting in sixth place and trailing league leaders AC Milan by five points.

Tomorrow will be the 23rd meeting between the two clubs and Inter have had great success in this fixture in the past having won 15 of the 22 games played whilst Genoa have won five of the remaining seven fixtures between the sides.
