Inter central defender Alessandro Bastoni has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate his return to action in Wednesday’s Champions League group stage opener versus Borussia Monchengladbach.
Bastoni had missed this past weekend’s Derby della Madonnina defeat to AC Milan as a result of being COVID-19 positive but recovered in time to be able to start in the 2-2 draw against the Bundesliga club at San Siro.
The highly rated Italian youth national team player posted: “Happy to be back on the field but it is too bad about the result. We have to improve and still have to work a lot! Now the focus is on Saturday.”
