A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera has analysed Inter’s performance in their 2-0 win over Genoa yesterday.

The report details how 27-year-old Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku continued his incredibly strong start to the season, scoring his seventh goal in six games to break the deadlock in yesterday’s clash.

Inter achieved their first clean sheet of the season, important after a few recent disappointing results.

Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella changed the game when he entered in the second half, with his energy and passing proving key and providing the assist for Lukaku’s opener.

Coach Antonio Conte decided to start Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen in the game, who was fairly invisible and did not manage to lead any attacks.

Lautaro Martinez also disappointed in the game, failing to score for the third game in a row and seeming frustrated throughout the game, even striking the bench in anger after being taken off.
