Inter and Juventus are both interested in signing Genoa starlet Nicolo Rovella according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Rovella’s contract with Genoa is due to expire at the end of this season in eight months time and to avoid losing him for nothing, they could sell him in the upcoming January transfer window and ask to take him back on loan for a season or two.
Genoa have already done similar deals with Inter and Juventus for Eddie Salcedo and Cristian Romero respectively and Rovella could be the latest player.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that the Rossoblu club value the 18-year-old sensation at €10 million.
This season Rovella has made two appearances across all competitions to date for Genoa but in his time on the park, which totals 163 minutes, he has not scored any goals or provided any assists.
