Inter are to meet with Stefan de Vrij’s agent shortly to discuss a contract renewal according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
In the coming hours Inter are to meet with the Dutchman’s agent, football super agent Mino Raiola, to hold talks over a new deal for the 28-year-old, who is currently contracted to the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The report from the broadcaster does not provide any detail as to how long the contract will be extended by.
de Vrij joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 on a free transfer after his contract with fellow Serie A side Lazio expired at the end of the previous season. The former Feyenoord player has made 87 appearances across all competitions to date for the club, in which he has scored six goals and provided just as many assists for his teammates.
