Lautaro Martinez’s recent struggles have left some doubts about the depth of Inter’s attacking department according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The highly rated 23-year-old made a stellar start to the season scoring a goal in each of Inter’s first three matches but since the first international break, Lautaro has failed to score in any of the games since and his performance levels have not been the same and this has led to him becoming agitated.

With regards to the doubts of the depth of Inter’s attack, the report goes on to explain that behind starters Lautaro and Romelu Lukaku there is ‘only’ Alexis Sanchez, who is often sidelined by injury, and youngster Andrea Pinamonti.

There is optimism that Sanchez could maybe be back for this weekend’s match at home to Parma whilst Pinamonti still has to earn the trust of Inter manager Antonio Conte. On top of this, Conte must recover the real Lautaro.
