Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will be able to field his desired attacking trident in tomorrow’s Champions League group stage match at home to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Frenchman will be able to deploy an attacking trident of Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard against Antonio Conte’s Nerazzurri for what will be just the second time the three players will all be able to play together from the start in nearly a year and a half.
The Spaniard, Frenchman and Belgian, all played from the start together in this weekend’s match against Huesca and this was the first time they all started together in the past 15 months, in which they had been on the pitch together for a combined 44 minutes, which were spread across three matches.
Real Madrid head into tomorrow night’s match sitting bottom of group B whilst Inter are in third place in the group.
