Inter nor Juventus are currently able to meet the demands of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The Austrian national team player’s contract with his current employers is due to expire at the end of this season and they have pulled their most recent contract renewal offer from the table.

Bayern Munich offered a three year deal worth €10 million, plus add-ons, a season but Alaba is seeking a four year deal worth €15 million a season to him.

Inter and Juventus cannot pay this and the report also highlights the fact that there would be a commission to be paid to his agent Pini Zahavi which would be in the double-digit million range.

Manchester City and Manchester United have both been observing Alaba’s situation for some time whilst Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also been linked. Barcelona have also been linked but any move is dependent on the outcome of their upcoming presidential elections.
