David Alaba’s Salary Demands Are An Obstacle For Inter Italian Media Reports

David Alaba’s salary demands are an obstacle in Inter’s path to sign him according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri club are one of several clubs to have taken an interest in signing the Bayern Munich defender, whose contract with the reigning Bundesliga champions is due to expire at the end of this season.

Inter will have to contend with competition from arch rivals Juventus as well as Real Madrid and Manchester City for his signature and other reports have also stated Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona all have an interest in him as well.

Alaba is said to want a salary in the region of €15 million a year, including add-ons, which is double the maximum salary Inter are prepared to pay out at the moment of €7.5 million a year.

This season the 28-year-old Austrian international has made nine appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided one assist.
