Inter and AC Milan have confirmed that they have filed filed an addendum to the feasibility study and a new financial plan for the new San Siro stadium and renewed community hub to the Milan city council today via a joint statement through the official website of the new stadium.

The clubs have stated that this filing fulfils the City Board Resolution 1905 of 8 November 2019, something which reflects the input of the Milan city council, as expressed in its 28 October 2019 vote.

The project will involve the construction of a new state of the art stadium that will replace San Siro, which the clubs state will be the cornerstone of the newly renovated district.

There will be sport, recreational and cultural activities available to citizens, a 220,000 square metre pedestrian area and at least 106,000 square metres of green space, nearly double the current 56,000 square metres.

The clubs have also stated that the newly revised project sees a significant reduction in real estate volumes compared to initial proposals which will now total 145,000 square metres.

In conclusion the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri clubs have confirmed that in the coming months they will prepare detailed drawings in preparation for the final stage of approval,  the declaration of public utility, in which the Clubs look forward to engaging with the City of Milan, the Lombardy region, and all other stakeholders in support of this exciting project.
