The match official assignments for the upcoming round of Serie A action have been announced with Federico La Penna assigned to referee Inter’s match at home to Torino on Sunday afternoon.
The 37-year-old, who has been a referee for 20 years and has refereed in Serie A since 2013, has refereed four matches across all competitions to date this term, including Torino’s 3-2 home loss to Cagliari on match day four.
La Penna has handed out 21 red cards and two red cards in the matches he has refereed so far this season.
Dario Cecconi and Rodolfo Di Vuolo have been assigned to assist La Penna at San Siro whilst Fabrizio Pasqua will be the fourth official for the match between the Nerazzurri and Granata. Rosario Abisso will be in charge of VAR and he will have Mauro Galetto alongside to assist him.
Inter head into this weekend in seventh place in the table whilst Torino are sitting in 17th.
