Well known Italian football agent Vincenzo Morabito has claimed that there are three clubs in Serie A who have taken a liking to Chelsea full back Emerson Palmeiri ahead of the fast approaching January transfer window.
As per Morabito, the Brazilian born naturalised Italian, who is seen as surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, is subject to interest from Inter, Juventus and Napoli.
“Chelsea want to get rid of the players who are not included in Lampard’s project. The blues want to return to the Champions League and will try to complete the squad for the second half of the season,” Morabito began an interview with Italian radio station Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli on Wednesday evening.
He went on to add: “Emerson Palmieri is liked in Italy. After Juventus and Inter there is a lot of talk about Napoli right now, there could be another Bakayoko-style operation.”
Emerson has been playing his football for Chelsea since January 2018 and is under contract with the London based club through to the end of next season.
The 26-year-old, who has formerly represented both Roma and Palermo in Italy, has made just four appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, which totals 150 minutes, he has failed to make any goal contributions.
